I’m Anthony, an Oxfordshire based maker, my workshop space being situated in the small market town of Thame. I am a trained furniture maker and craftsman, having studied furniture-making and design in Buckinghamshire in the early 00’s. The years since I have had opportunities to undertake additional training and learning to further broaden my scope and knowledge of the field.
I set up in 2016 having spent time gaining experience in making, drawing and producing a large range of bespoke furniture commissions and interiors for architects, interior designers and private clients.
I now craft contemporary furniture to commission and for exhibition. I favour native, locally sourced timbers. Each project undertaken is made to the most exacting standards of craftsmanship and design.
I take inspiration from a diverse range of practices and processes found in traditional British furniture making, American Shaker and Scandinavian design, more recently adding traditional Japanese joinery to the list.
My work combines texture, pattern, material and shape, uniting craft and design in a celebration of both the material and the maker.
